Entrecards new rules affects the contest I'm holding

Sorry everyone but the new rules from Entrecard have made it impossible to continue my contest as planned I will however only be able to give out 1000 credits and I will. so rather than the 5000, entrecard will only allow me to do 1000 at a time.

So everone still entered in the contest has a chance of winning only 1000 credits, no worries I will make new 1000 credit contests in the future.

YouTube Annotations

YouTube Annotations can come in very handy, I know I use them in many projects I do. What you want to do is make them so they are very easy for the reader to see and understand. You want the reader to see them and read along with you. Some people I have notices put too many annotations in a video and we have to pause just to catch up.

One really good trick I like annotations for is putting my website address up. Oh and you can link from videos to video, it gets to be very exciting after a while. Get carried away but then tone it down a tad later on.

My First Contest on my blog 1,000 Entrecard Credits! woohoo!

okay, I have yet to make a contest from my blog and I thought it would be a good time to start.

The main reason I am doing this because you all know I made a big booboo with my RSS feed a while back and had the RSS feed going to 'Lord knows where', I know I have many readers from before and they probably wondered why my RSS feed never worked... well I'm still a bit fuzzy about it but it seems to be working now YAY!

I have 2 readers I am so proud of I could just sqeeeeeze the heck outta them. The same goes for you!

So here it goes, I am giving away 1000 entrecards when my RSS feed hits 100 or when the 30 days pass from today either or....

Keep your blog going with easy tips and tricks

1. Write in your blog often, and write good content
2. You don't have to make it long and difficult to read (readers have lives too:)
3. Keep to the topic at hand, sometimes do some fun stuff but stay on topic
4. Don't bog yourself down with thinking about a post too long
5. Build a relationship with your readers

I underestimated Squidoo

For some time now I have only dabbled in Squidoo once in a while. Really nothing at all.
Then I went over and began doing some studying for myself and soon realized these people who are Squidoo'ing are getting on the top of the google search engine left and right.

I took them for the test and I right at this moment have a lens ranked at

So guess what, I think it is time to start making some squidoo lenses.

On a sad note I was google slapped for too much bookmarking for the lens, I was on top till they slapped me... that hurt... It doesn't take long to get out of a slap just be consistent and keep adding to your lens, as well as keep bookmarking every day but only a couple bookmarks a day.

So in order to avoid the dreaded slap I would personally start my next squidoo out with a few major popular social bookmarking sites, and slowly as the month goes on add 2 a day and add some new information to your lens as well.
