I wanted to share an article I found online about Entrecard and what it does to help people on their blogs succeed better than they have been. I have found Entrecard has increased my blog traffic. I think you will find the same thing happens with you.
What is Entrecard?
Entrecard is a free advertising service that works wonders launched in late 2007. It's especially aimed to benefit small and medium-sized blogs. Entrecard is helping members to generate traffic to their websites, you earn "Entrecard Credits" that you can use to "pay for" advertising your blog on other members' sites. Each member shuld be display an Entrecard widget on their blog, which is the container for other members' ads.
Users also have the opportunity to visit other members' blogs, dropping (this is where you click drop on the Entrecard widget on someone else's page. You cannot click your own. You're only allowed 300 drops a day per blog. if you think this is a lot then you are wrong. Many people power drop on many different accounts so they can build up their ECs).) off their virtual business card to give these members the opportunity to connect with them. There are additional networking and traffic-building opportunities within the Entrecard site.
Entrecard Credits ("Credits" or "EC's")
In your enter Entrecard dashboard, you'll see the current total of your credits and how you've earned with them. For the latest information on how to earning credit see: http://entrecard.com/docs/doku.php?id=earning_credits. You can use your credit for:
* pay for a service or product from the Entrecard Shop or other transactions with other members
* buy ad space to advertise your blog on another member's blog
* sell or donation.
Joining with Entrecard?
* You can find interesting new blogs.
* meet and network with other bloggers.
* It will probably raise your Alexa ranking. Much of your traffic will come from Entrecard users, who are likely to have the Alexa toolbar installed.
* To do some free advertising for your blog.
* To find blogs that don't use "no follow" links, where you can leave comments. Many Entrecard members' widgets show a "U Comment / I Follow" icon.
* This is a cheap and easy way to get free advertising.
This website can be powerful for the people that do not have enough money to pay for advertising and generate traffic for their websites . It is just a matter of advertising on the right websites.

A few things I don't like about Entrecard blogs
First of all I don't like the fact that some of them don't even have
a entrecard drop button on their page.
How many times do you go to a blog and search it up and down
never to find the drop box?
Out of the 300 I do per day I bet I meet up with about 5 - 10
of them.
That's not as bad as when I go to a blog and I search it up and
down only to find the whole entire page was an advertisement.
Whew, that really cooks my cookies :)
On a better note
I love it when I am clicking and it finally starts to say
"awesome"
Then I know I am almost done my entrecard duties :)

Well there goes my social life straight down the 'you know what'
Not really but Sezwho has now come to Entrecard and we can make an extra 150 credits if we go leave comments.
But who has time amongst us?
It takes me over 1 hour to do my entrecards. I don't know about the rest of you, I have 2 blogs and that's 600 entrecards. There is no way I can start posting 150 credits worth at sezwho.
Don't get me wrong I love posting comments on others blogs, but I don't like doing it under pressure. So I have to pass on the tedious work of gaining 150 extra entrecards, maybe you have more time than I do.
I think it's based on 10 credits per/post if your post qualifies from what I understood. So your going to have to make 15 very good comments and have them rated in some sort of way to earn the most credits possible.
I hope this doesn't change things and people post in the comment sections of others blogs because they love the content and not because they can gain a few extra credits here and there.
